WK1 Research

Rock, Paper Scissors

Rules
·      Each player has the choice between three different hand signals: “rock”, “paper” or “scissors”
o   To make a rock, you must shape your hand in a fist
o   To make a paper you must extend your fingers so your hand is flat
o   To make a scissor you must extend your middle and pointer fingers and curl the rest
·      Scissor beats paper and loses to rock
·      Rock beats scissors but loses to paper
·      Paper beats rock but loses to scissors
·      If both players put out the same hand signal, redo the round

How to Play
·      Pick a partner to play against and stand across from your partner
·      You and your partner must simultaneously say, “Rock, paper, scissors, SHOOT!” in rhythm with your hand in a fist. Shake your hand with the rhythm of the words
·      As you and your partner say “SHOOT” you each must choose either “rock”, “paper”, or “scissor”. (See rules to understand what each means)
·       You can play either one game to decide the winner, best two out of three, or as many games as you want until you feel content.
